Yes. An additional driver must be at least 25 years of age. Budget will check the additional drivers' license to ensure that it is valid. The charge for an additional driver is $6.99 per day.

Yes, all returns inside the city of Managua are free of charge. There is an additional fee for returns in other cities. The return charges are the following: Granada: $20 San Juan del Sur: $35 Chinandega: $35 Matagalpa: $35.
Border crossing is not permitted with a Budget Vehicle.
Yes, In Budget Nicaragua SLI (Supplemental Liability Insurance Coverage) purchase is Mandatory. In the case of insurance that covers the Budget Vehicle, it is not mandatory but you are responsible for the vehicle in the event of damage.
Given the vast number of insurers and policies, it is extremely difficult for us to know which entitlements accompany your given policy. We strongly recommend that you purchase insurance from Budget to insure your protection in case of an accident.
